Anne-Maree Dunn – Tax Partner
Anne-Maree, the Tax Partner at WMT is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Her role involves advising business owners and individuals on how to minimise their tax bills through careful planning, guiding clients to make choices that will provide them with the best value. Taking a holistic approach to their family and business situations, Anne-Maree also looks after clients’ tax returns and advises on the tax issues and opportunities surrounding business ventures and deals, as well as the tax implications of personal investments.
Anne-Maree has many years’ experience in advising owner-managed businesses on a wide variety of personal, employee and corporate issues. Her particular areas of interest are in exit strategies for owner-managers, corporate taxes and reorganisations, profit extraction and share schemes and employee taxes and benefits.
Paula Jeffs – Senior Private Client Tax Manager
Paula qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1993. Originally starting her career in accountancy, she moved into Personal Tax in 1988 so has many years of experience in the field of taxation. Paula is the Senior Private Client Tax Manager at WMT, and advises on a wide range of personal tax issues. Her areas of expertise include advising on inheritance tax, trusts, non-resident and non-domicile matters.
Peter Davies is a former Inland Revenue investigator with extensive experience in enquiries carried out by HM Revenue & Customs. Since joining the accountancy profession in 2004 Peter has advised businesses on employment tax issues including benefits in kind, PAYE and National Insurance, and more specialised areas such as employment status and termination payments. He also advises hospitality businesses (where he is a recognised national expert) and the construction industry on specific tax issues affecting these sectors. Peter’s advice is always practical and straightforward and manages to make technical tax issues accessible and understandable.
Peter also enjoys public speaking and has contributed to both trade and accountancy publications, as well as appearing on BBC TV and Radio 4
Anil Arora, Corporate Tax Manager
Anil Arora is the Corporate Tax Manager at WMT, his role includes advising on all aspects of tax for small and medium sized businesses and their owners.
Anil started his career at a top 10 accountancy firm, he is ATT qualified and has been working in corporate tax for over 10 years. His areas of expertise include corporate tax compliance and advisory, M&A tax, advising on the tax implications of transactions, corporate restructuring and share schemes. He also has experience of dealing with tax investigations.
Anil works with a wide ranging portfolio of clients in a variety of sectors, particular areas of specialism include working within the pharmaceutical, real estate and manufacturing sectors.
