  • Review cash flow
    • Review pricing
    • Sign all cheque payments?
    • Slow down payments – negotiate with suppliers
  • Increase sales to your best customers
  • Review headcount
  • Retain your best people – who must/should/could you keep
  • Train your leaders
  • Reward good performance
  • Empower the right people – communicate, communicate, communicate
  • Retain your customers – those who you must/should/could keep:
    • Keep close to them
    • What problems are they having?
    • Thank them for business
    • Ask them for more!
  • Which customers should you lose?
  • Review your “waste”. This is not what gets put out in the plastic bag at the end of the day, this would include:-
    • Over production
    • Under production
    • Waiting times
    • Defects etc.
  • Above all, maintain your energy:
  • Beware of those that suck energy from you
    • Don’t work too hard
    • Do what excites you
    • Do you love what you do?
    • Keep fit and recharge your batteries
